FANS: The
Hi-G environment
and ever-increasing
duty cycle of today's
medical and industrial
CT-based systems means
an extremely harsh
environment for cooling
system and its components. No
one has more experience
than Tark in specifying
and testing fans for
these conditions. Tark
tests selected fans
two ways. First,
it life tests all fan
models, in full operation,
on its Hi-G tester
(up to 40 G's) for
several hundred hours. Second,
it also subjects
the fans, mounted in
the complete cooling
system in full operation,
to very aggressive
Highly Accelerated
Life Tests (HALT) which
subject the fans to
temperature ranges
of -20 to +80 deg C
and vibration ranges
of 0 to 45 GRMS. |

| RADIATOR: Tark
engineers are experts
at not only specifying
radiators for x-ray
tube cooling systems
but shaping them for
best fit in tight gantry
spaces. Radiators
don't have to be flat. Some
of Tark's radiators
are curved to fit around
a pump assembly. Others
can be banana-shaped
to fit the gantry geometry. Customers
simply specify their
cooling needs and the
space envelope within
which the cooling system
must fit. Tark
engineers do the rest! |
