Tark's CEO,
Joe co-founded North
Company in 1985 (which
combined with Tark
Engineering in 2000
to become Tark, Inc). Previously,
he had spent many
years in the HVAC
industry, eventually
rising to President
of Lau Industries
in Dayton,
Ohio. With
a masters degree
in mechanical engineering
from MIT, Joe and
Tark co-founder Ferdinand
Lustwerk, quickly
garnered a reputation
for world-class expertise
in the cooling of
x-ray tubes. Together
they designed and
manufactured the
first hermetically
sealed direct drive
centrifugal pumps
for such cooling. Eventually,
their engineering
services and product
line included complete
cooling systems. A
holder of numerous
patents, Joe thrives
on the challenge
of engineering new
products for the
ever-changing medical
and industrial x-ray
industry. As
Tark, Inc CEO, Joe
is the chief trainer/mentor
of his staff and
is the company's
chief engineer. He's
easy to find at either
Tark office (Dayton
or Boston): he's
the guy in the lab
or on the plant floor
with the dirtiest
hands! Joe's
off-work interests
include traveling
with wife Donna,
grand-kid chasing
(he's got 7 of them),
and fishing. Joe
and Donna live in
Dayton, Ohio. Joe
can be reached at
Tark's Dayton Office,
(937) 291-5783 or
via email. |
