Tark's President,
Jim came to Tark in
2000 after 10 years
with his own business,
RM North Co., a distributor
of heating  and
cooling units. A
graduate of Clemson
University with a B.S.
and the University
of Dayton with an M.S.,
both in mechanical
engineering, Jim has
already designed Tark's
latest pump, the patented multi-stage. As
Tark President, Jim
is based at the Boston
office and oversees
every aspect of the
business. He
is particularly
involved with engineering,
design for manufacturing,
lean, and company vision. While
serving as President,
Jim also assumed a
six-month "tour
of duty" as the
production manager. In
this role, he learned
the ins and outs of
exactly what goes on
on the plant floor
and how lean manufacturing
changes can be carefully
implemented. Jim's
off-work interests
include golf, running,
family, and Jimmy Buffett. He
lives with wife Lori
and three boys, Joe,
Jack, and Sam, in Westford,
Massachusetts. Jim
